Day 1


Arrive at Fiumicino Airport and transfer to Chianciano Terme. Check-in at Grand Hotel Ambasciatori (4-star).

Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2


Meet with the guide at 9am and depart for a full day tour of Montepulciano and Pienza.

Visit one of the most prestigious wine cellar in the town of Montepulciano for a Nobile di Montepulciano wine tasting with salami, pecorino cheese and bruschettas. Then we drive to Pienza! For its undeniable beauty of art and history, in 1996 UNESCO declared this village a World Heritage Site. There are many reasons why it is worth visiting Pienza: its history, monuments and gastronomy. Pienza begins its development from the Fifteenth Century, by Pope Pius II who was born there.

Return to hotel late afternoon. Evening at your leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 3


Meet with the guide at 9am and depart for a full day tour of Montalcino and Bagno Vignoni.

Visit a wine estate in Montalcino for a Brunello DOCG wine tasting and then stop at Bagno Vignoni, a unique hamlet built around its “bath-square”, formed by the natural thermal waters of the area.

Return to hotel late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4


Meet with the guide at 9am and depart for a half-day tour in Val d’Orcia.

Visit the Italian Garden of Villa La Foce: a beautiful villa overlooking the Val d’Orcia landscape, which was a symbol of the partisan resistance during World War II.

Visit a Pianporcino farm where Beppe, the owner, will teach you about the production of this delicious cheese and you will taste his different aged masterpieces!

Return to the hotel in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 5


Free morning. We suggest you visit the Chianciano Terme medieval center with ancient churches and small cafes, or the Etruscan Archaeological Museum, located close to the downtown center.

In the afternoon, participate in a cooking class. You will learn how to make a traditional pasta called “pici”.

Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6


10am admission to the Theia Thermal Pools in Chianciano Terme where you can relax in four outdoor and three indoor pools with thermal waters at 36°.

Spend the evening at your leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 7


After breakfast, check out and transfer to Fiumicino Airport.
